Before Biovida was born, we were simply passionate about natural skincare, just like you. We were searching for authenticity, simplicity, and a more mindful way of living. Every product we create is inspired by that same curiosity, that same desire to consume more consciously and care for ourselves—genuinely.

Our Roots

OUR PURPOSE

As a young married couple expecting our first baby, we began to question our consumption habits. Reading every label, understanding every ingredient... it became a reflex.

Very quickly, one thing became clear: protecting our health, and especially that of our unborn child, meant definitively moving away from chemical products and endocrine disruptors.

That's when everything changed. As a future mother, the co-founder had a deep conviction that taking care of herself should never conflict with protecting her baby's healthy development.

Our beginnings

BIOVIDA'S BACKGROUND

So we chose to go back to basics. To take the simplest and fairest path: that of pure ingredients, in harmony with nature, without artifice or compromise.
First, by creating our own homemade treatments: deodorant, creams, balms, massage oils... tested and approved, until it became obvious: we had to share this with others.

This is how Biovida was born. A Moroccan artisanal brand, which draws its inspiration from these wellness rituals that have been in our veins forever: hammams where people gather, afternoons of sharing among women, these moments of gentleness passed down from generation to generation. But Biovida is also a brand open to the world, enriching itself with know-how from elsewhere to reinvent and share them here, in Morocco.

A natural treasure from Canada

This openness to the world stems from the ten years the co-founder spent in Canada, where she discovered an ancestral ingredient booming in North America: tallow.

A true natural treasure, incredibly similar to human sebum, multi-purpose, and still largely unknown in Morocco. This is where the desire was born to bring this innovation back, while rooting it in our Moroccan heritage.

Recognized for several years in America for its richness and restorative power, this ingredient won us over. We chose to incorporate it into our first range to introduce it to you for the very first time, here in Morocco, and offer you more accessible, effective, and authentic natural skincare products.
